The Rock ‘n’ Soul Singers have been performing and collecting donations for the Maggie’s Charity based at the City Hospital in Nottingham. On Wed 21st June we welcomed Liz, one of the Centre’s fund-raising team and she told us a lot about the charity and accepted our cheque for £3000.00. We learnt that £600,000 is required every year to run the Centre, which is staffed by NHS nurses and doctors who are dedicated to the care of cancer patients. It is one of many throughout UK, that are situated close to NHS hospitals. They provide professional help and support groups, courses and workshops. We have more performances booked and will donate another cheque later in the year.

Here's a video of the choir singing 'Make your own kind of music' from our concert at  Underwood Church, April 2023.

Here's a couple of videos we put together during the COVID lockdown:

Christmas Lullaby - John Rutter

Jingle Bells - traditional

This year (2024) we will be raising funds for Nottinghamshire Blood Bikes (Registered Charity 1155983).
